For everyone
Run a group
Start a group, let people in, clear the moderation queue, and hand it over.
Anyone who passed the ID check can start a group and becomes its Owner.
1. Open Find groups and press Create a group. Give it a name and say what it is for. Add its rules, topics and area. Pick Public or Private, then press Create group.
2. To make someone a Moderator, open Requests and members and press Make a Moderator beside them. Only the Owner can.
3. Requests and members lists who asked to join. Press Accept or Decline. A declined person sees only Not accepted, with no reason.
4. Moderation queue shows reports and waiting requests. Open each one. Then pick Remove, Hide for a time, Close the discussion, Suspend, Dismiss or Send to Lerabase.
5. Pick the rule it broke. Suspensions last 1, 7 or 30 days and end by themselves. The person sees the rule on the group or on their post or comment, and can ask Lerabase to look again.
6. The Owner uses Settings. There they change the rules, topics and area, and who can read and join. They can also hand the group over or close it.
Lerabase sits above every group. Reports about safety go to Lerabase, and what Lerabase removed stays removed.
When it worked, the item leaves the queue.
Has nobody run your group for 90 days? A member can ask Lerabase for a new owner. If your account comes back first, press Take my group back on the group page.
