Questions businesses ask before joining

Plain answers about what Lerabase is, what it checks, and what it does not do.

Is Lerabase a staffing agency? No. Lerabase is not a staffing agency. It does not hire, pay, or place anyone.

Do you run background checks? No. Lerabase never gets a person's background report, driving record, drug test, or Clearinghouse result. We do not read, score, or keep one.

What do you check about a worker? ID check passed means a person's government ID and live face were checked.

What do you check about a business? Verified business means a person at Lerabase checked the business papers and the EIN. The papers are linked to an Owner who passed the ID check.

Who is on my team? Only people you invite. Teammates are never counted or capped. Roles are Owner, Admin, and Member.

What if Lerabase pauses my business? It happens only after a person looks at a report. Your page leaves the site, paid features stop, and your Home says until when with a reference code. Your conversations stay readable. Any Owner or Admin can see why and ask for an appeal within 30 days.

Do I need a business to hire? No. An Independent Recruiter recruits as one checked person, with no company team.

Does Lerabase replace my own hiring duties? No. Lerabase does not replace an employer's own legal hiring duty.

Who sees what workers share? Workers decide. You only see documents a worker chooses to share with you.

Can I get help from a person? Yes. Use Get help. A person at Lerabase answers within 2 business days.
