Languages on your profile

Tell us which languages you speak, read and write. English is the one every profile answers.

Open Profile, then Languages I speak. Every worker answers this part, whether you drive or not. It is the last part of the list.

English comes first. Say how well you speak it and how well you read and write it. Your choices are Native, Professional, Limited working, and None.

English is part of Ready to apply. Until you answer it, the bar stays short of 100 percent. Other languages never block anything.

To add another language, tap Add another language. Type its name and pick it from the list. Not listed? Add yours. Then say how well you speak it and how well you read and write it.

Each language has two answers, because you may speak it better than you write it. Example: Spanish, Native for speaking, Professional for reading and writing.

You can add up to twelve languages in all. Tap Remove language to take one off the list.

To keep a language out of your public page, tick Hide this language from my public page. English will always show, so it has no switch.

Everything here is self-reported. Nobody checks it, and it is never used to filter people. Employers cannot search by language.

After you add other languages, Make your profile stronger stops asking for another one. You can come back and change your list any time.
