For everyone

How groups work

Find a group, join or ask to join, follow it, and leave it.

A group is a place for people who do the same work or work in the same place.

1. Open Network, then Find groups. Type words, pick a topic, or type a ZIP code to see the groups near it first. Press Search.

2. Each group says who can read it and how to get in. Public groups can be read by people who passed the ID check. Private groups can be read by their members only.

3. Press Join to join an open group at once. Press Ask to join for a group that needs a yes. The owner or a moderator answers.

4. Your request waits 14 days. Press Cancel request to take it back. If nobody answers, it ends and you can ask again.

5. In a group, press Follow group to get a notice for each new discussion. Press Write in this group to post there.

6. To leave, press Leave group. An owner hands the group to another member or closes it first.

When it worked, the group page says You are a Member.

Do you see Not accepted? The group said no. You can ask again on the day it shows.

Do you see You are suspended from this group? It ends by itself on the day it shows. Press Ask Lerabase to look again if you think it was wrong.

Did a group remove you, say no, or remove your post? Within 30 days you can tell us why and press Ask Lerabase to look again. A person decides within 7 business days. We change a group's decision only when the group broke Lerabase's own rules.

Signed out? You see a group's name, what it is for, its rules and how many members it has. Press Join to join Lerabase.
