Getting your company ready

One list shows what is left before you can hire, in order.

Open your business, then the Business verification tab. It shows your ready to hire list. It is one list, in order, with no score. Each line says what it opens up when it is done.

Your ID check comes first. You do it yourself, with your own ID.

Next come your business papers: a formation paper and the EIN letter.

With the papers, say who you are for the business. Pick I am the legal owner, or I am authorized to act for the business. Add the legal owner's name when the page asks for it. Owner on Lerabase means you control the business here. It does not prove legal ownership.

Then comes Two-step login. An authenticator app counts. So does a Google or Microsoft sign in.

Do your workers drive cars, vans, buses or trucks that the company owns? Then your Company also adds a certificate of liability. Other businesses do not see this line.

Then comes your public page. It goes public by itself once the business check passes, and you can hide it at any time. Your first job comes last, when job posts open.

Each line shows how long it usually takes. We send you a notice when a paper is verified or declined.

You made the business, so you also get Can view workers' shared documents. It turns on by itself once your ID check passed and Two-step login is set up. We keep a record when it turns on.

When the business check passes, your business shows as a Verified business.
