Change something your ID check read
A better license answer, a new name, or a new ID needs a new ID check.
Some changes need a new ID check with a live face check. A better license class does. So does a new endorsement, a restriction you take off, a new legal name, or a new main ID.
Other changes save right away. Dropping an endorsement, adding a restriction, or picking a lower class needs no new check. A renewed license of the same kind only needs a new picture in My secure documents.
To ask for a better license answer, open Profile and Driving qualifications. Pick the new answer and tap Save.
To say your legal name changed or you have a new main ID, open Account. Under Changed your name or your ID?, tap My legal name changed or I have a new main ID.
Your profile then shows Update pending. It keeps your old answers. Employers keep seeing what your last ID check read. You keep ID check passed and your applications.
Tap Do the ID check. You take photos of your ID and do a live face check, like the first time. You get three tries.
A person on staff looks at your new check. We promise an answer in 2 business days. You see a reference code.
If it passes, your profile shows your new answers. If it does not, everything stays as it was. You can try again after 30 days, or at once with a different ID.
Changed your mind? Tap Withdraw this update on Driving qualifications, or in Account. You cannot withdraw once a person is looking, or after you used a try.
