Blocking and muting

Stop contact from a person or a whole business, or hide someone's posts from you.

Blocking is silent. The person or business is never told.

To block a person, open their page and press Block. They can no longer follow you, connect with you or message you, and you no longer see each other's pages. A connection with them ends, and unblocking does not bring it back.

To block a whole business, open its page and press Block this business. No one from it can start a new conversation with you. Your own applications and work records stay.

A block stops new contact only. Your jobs, pay, safety and Support records stay as they are.

To report someone too, press Report on their page. Report and block are separate choices.

Muting is for Network posts. Press Mute on a post to hide that person's posts and comments from you. They are not told, and they can still see and contact you.

To undo either one, open Account, then Blocked, and press Open the list. Press Unblock or Unmute. It worked when the name leaves the list.

Unblocking lets them contact you again. A connection the block ended does not come back.
